- Turner Classic Movies - TCM has a fair amount of good info on films and stars
- Common Sense Media - movie reviews for parents includes an extensive array of classic titles
- Internet Movie Database - truth is I am an IMDB junkie. The site is loaded with info on almost every film. ever. and very useful
- National Film Preservation Board - An arm of the Library of Congress, lots of great info
- Pictureshowman.com - Wonderful, well organized source of info about motion picture history
- Silent Locations blog - Author John Bengtson's blog about filming locations from Chaplin, Keaton and Lloyd films. A treasure.
- Pima County Library - wonderful collection of early and classic movies. Easily available from any library in the system and delivered to your home branch through interlibrary loan
- Movie Diva Blog - just discovered this amazing cache of great reviews. Must read more!
- Silent Era - information and new hub for all things related to silent film.
- Nitrateville - online chat forums for a variety of silent and sound classic film topics
